Prevention of structured violence

This component of Caritas Kosova's work aims to support victims whose dignity has been violated. Structured violence involves a wide range of human rights violations. Starting with domestic violence, that between peers, and even what may come from the authorities, including physical and mental or visible and invisible, is present in our society, which is mainly due to the wrong mentality and the impossibility of development of a society which has in the centre the man. For years, the fight against human trafficking has continued to be one of the priorities of Caritas Kosova's activities. This phenomenon is a serious wound that has affected humanity at all times and Caritas Kosova is committed to preventing this phenomenon with special focus on children and women. Within the program implemented by Caritas Kosova, there are three components: Prevention, Raising Citizens' Awareness and Protection and Re-integration of (potential) victims of trafficking.
